With this kit installed, the friction torque capacity of the holding clutches and brakes in 2nd through 6th gear is increased by approximately 100% when the lock up clutch is off and line pressure is at maximum. Since transmission removal is not required, install it before adding engine horsepower to prevent internal damage.
