Nepenthes veitchii (Murud Striped x Candy), Specimen BThis plant was bred by Christian Klein, the famous German nurseryman with one of the world's best veitchii collections. The cross was done between a striped veitchii from the Kelabit Highland and an extremely squat, pink variety with candy striped peristome. We were inspired to make this cross by the Nepenthes Kohala grex out of Leilani Nepenthes Nursery which was (kampotiana x maxima) x (veitchii x fusca)

We grow it in a mix of equal parts peat

The plants for sale are seed grown from Sintang-Singawa in Kalimantan

In order for the plant to produce high levels of nectar it is recommended to grow it in fairly strong light
