The coal for these earrings was collected by hand while hiking on a trail in the Canadian rocky mountain town of Canmore

The subtle texture of growth rings from a naturally fallen Fir Tree has been imprinted onto these earrings from a Douglas Fir Tree that was growing in the forests of the Canadian Rocky Mountain town of Canmore

more specifically it grew in Banff National Park in the Canadian Rocky Mountains

Each one is one of only 100 made by thoughtfully and gently placing acid free mulberry paper onto this reclaimed and naturally fallen Fir Tree stump that had been coated with archival quality ink
