Zebra - Print (Retail 11x14)When I initially started working on this piece, my plan was to draw something entirely black and white. A zebra seemed like an excellent choice, and along the same lines as the Giraffes and Camels, so away I went with it. Lately I have been concentrating heavily on negative space. Especially when working with black and white. If there is no color, then the areas that don't get filled in with the black ink, have just as much impact as those that do.

I feel like at any moment they could transform into a wizard or vanish in a puff of smoke

I freaked myself out a few times thinking about what could be lurking in the shadows

is a giant smiling moose face

It happens there nightly:)  I have been to so many shows at Red Rocks

kind of like a great-white shark in the ocean:) They are super elusive

kinda sneaky

and step forward with determination to live life to the fullest
