Victorian Shellwork Treasure Chest
Description
Victorian Shellwork Treasure ChestVictorian shellwork box in the shape of a miniature treasure chest. Shellwork souvenirs were very popular in coastal areas so we are fortunate to see a lot of it here in New England! The box is made of paper, painted to look like wood. It measures about 4 x 4 (slightly wider at the base). Condition is very good overall with minor shell loss and fraying to the paper. Refer to photos.
