Model 2109/12/14
Description
Model 2109/12/14Throughout his life, Gino Sarfatti has always been fascinated by the sky, especially by the perfect light emanating from the moon. Le Sfere is a testament to this special attraction of his. Conceived from 1959, it is a family of opal glass lamps, the largest designed by the master, which includes a single sphere model up to a composition of twenty four arranged in a circular manner to form a chandelier. Each blown opal glass sphere is held in place by
a coat rack bench that plays with the company’s stylistic features: bent wood and the wovencane or upholstered seat
But a further clue to its identity is signified by the suffix 'go' because this portable lamp unburdened by an electrical cord can literally move anywhere
the generous shapes of the seat contrast with the static
