Antique Sterling Silver Thimble Sewing Supplies Tools 1800's Victorian OriginalThis is an original antique Victorian sterling silver thimble from the 1800's. It is fully hallmarked. It has two holes in the top and they look like it was made this way as you can see in the photos. It is in very good condition and would be a nice addition to a collection. It measures 1 inch or 2. 5 cm in height and 3 4 inch or 2 cm in diameter.

9 inches or 23 cm in height and 7 inches or 18 cm in depth

The bottom has a hairline crack but it is only in the top surface

It is signed on the right corner by the artist Herrmann

It would have once had keys to lock both sides but the keys are no longer with the bag

It has two small chips on the top rim

One has a couple of very tiny chips at the top rim

5 cm in width and 4 3/4 inches or 12 cm in height

It has a paper illustration of a landscape of trees with a lone person walking

Canada on the bottom and the makers initials are carved into the wooden base

He is very finely carved with intricate details

Including the bottom base
