Vintage Oil PaintingI bought this fabulous midcentury oil painting on canvas because she reminds me so much of the paintings I see in my favorite horror movies of the time, made to look antique but clearly of their period! The composition of a child in the clouds is a motif used in early American posthumous portraiture, indicating the child is in heaven. Heavily worn with chipping to the frame and two holes in the canvas. Sold as is: I would put her right on the wall
