Coated fiberglass pipe insulation 36"X 1-3/8 (1 1/4" Max Pipe Size) 1/2" Wall thickness - Order contains 3 Pieces/units.Insulation to place the PVC Pipe in while heating. It is also used to provide a safe environment to lay a hot PVC Bendit tool on during the heating or cooling process. The fiberglass will not ignite and it serves as a thermal barrier which holds the heat in the PVC and decreases bend times dramatically. Note: These originally were included with your Bendit Tool but they have been replaced with carbonized felt "PAN" which is the black material included
