Broomhill Station
Description
Broomhill StationBroomhill Station was originally opened in 1863 as part of the Inverness and Perth Junction Railway on the line running from Forres to Aviemore. Closed in 1965 due to railway cuts in that decade, a replica was rebuilt by the volunteers at the Strathspey Railway in 1977. The original station served Dulnain Bridge and Nethy Bridge as well as carrying timber felled in the area. The station was filmed as Glenbogle station as part of a successful TV series
