The 1935 Jubilee Miniature Medal

It recognises the bravery and endurance of those who served on land

Awarded for 30 days service in Kuwait between 8 March and 30 September 1991

The lower limb of the medal is engraved with the year of issue and subsequent awards are denoted by adding a 2nd award bar to the ribbon

This award was ceased in 1993 as part of the review of the honours syetm and replaced by the Military Cross

A silver bar ornamented by an eagle may be issued to AFC holders performing a further act of such gallantry which would have merited award of the AFC

The Royal Navy Long Service Miniature Medal EIIR is granted for 15 years of meritorious service

[2] and takes precedence over all other orders

During World War 1 it was also available to equivalent ranks in the Royal Naval Division and Royal Marines (RM) and it later became available to equivalent ranks in the RAF for acts of gallantry on land
