Victorian Portrait Plate of a DogCharming, late Victorian vernacular pet portrait of a beloved spaniel painted on a papier mch plate, patent dated 1880 on the back at the linen tab from which you can hang it. You can really tell this was someones pet rather than a random dog copied from elsewhere: The dog has so much personality! Refer to photos for size and condition: Very good with some craquelure from age and minor flaking to the paint around the edges.
