Description

Dionaea muscipula 'B52'The Venus flytrap Dionaea muscipula 'B52' is a cultivar developed by Henning von Schmeling in the early 2000s. Its story starts with a plant he named 'Carolina Giant'. From the self pollination of this plant, von Schmeling grew a group of seven seedlings. He labelled these seedlings from largest to smallest. The 'A1' seedling later became the famous 'B52'. He selected it for its specific traits. The 'B52' shows vigorous growth. It produces traps that
