I did not make this a "seconds" pot because I absolutely love the chipped rim

The process of bellying out the pot creates the split-crack surface

We left the exterior of the bowl naked (where no glaze is applied) to really take advantage of the beauty of the clay and make the inside pop even more

These are the only two bowls I am selling together as a set

It definitely will grab the eye of whomever sees it

this pot blasts energy into whatever space it sits

careful daily monitoring of the bowl for 5-8 weeks as it dries

Some pots have small cracks on the bottom of the pot called s-cracks

"Naked raku" involves coating the pottery with a liquid clay before firing up the raku kiln

The outside bottom is a cement-style naked stoneware clay and the inside and outside features an incredible alchemy of glaze effect that is very difficult to achieve
