Koiniariko in AnthesisAnthesis refers to the blossoming phase of plants, one of the prettiest times of the year. Made with 100% Kioniariko, the fruit was cold soaked before undergoing wild fermentation and finally aged for 10 months in new and old French oak. Notes of sweet spice, cracked black pepper and wild strawberries are abundant on the nose. Black cherry appears on the palate with smooth tannins creating a medium bodied red wine.
