Description
KilijThe Kilij is perhaps the progenitor of most curved swords. Early forms date back to Turkic peoples in central Asia as early as 300BCE. Kilij are a curved sword with a partially sharpened back, aka 'false' edge (called a yelman). This model is based on forms common to the Late Middle Ages, and has a hook handle, and star crossguard. Vlad Tepes, AKA Vlad the Impaler wielded a Kilij of this type. Length: 100cm Weight: 382g
