Bowl Turning Blank - Oak, 4x3 inKiln dried oak bowl turning blank measuring 4 inches in diameter, with a thickness of approximately 3 inches (this can vary by + 0. 25 inches due to starting board thickness). Each blank is cut to a round shape and has its edge sealed with parrafin wax. Oak has a light to medium golden brown heartwood, with an almost white sapwood. Botanical name Quercus Petraea, oak produces good results when turned and glues, stains and finishes well.
