Prehnite finger cast after AnhydriteA classic, thick, single finger shaped cast of Prehnite after Anhydrite with good gemminess and luster on the display side, and a slight coating of a secondary clay mineral on the back. The side of the piece has a second spherical aggregate that was contact upon extraction from the pocket. The underside of the piece shows the square cross section of the once preexisting Anhydrite crystal that was the base for the cast. The Prospect Park Quarry is

and then a more notable forest green hue with a somewhat silvery color near the base of the crystal

Hard to photograph and better in person
