As true to the original as possible whilst still receiving Johns own twist they are built for comfort and longevity. The Munson lasts: Are very shapely, have a nice slim waist with a sleek munson shaped toe, are snug throughout the foot (as they should be when sized correctly) with plenty toe wiggle room. There is no toe

slim and very curvy in the waist with quite a high arch (almost White’s like) and normal to slim in the heel

are sewn up well

Beautiful stuff

This iteration we asked to replace to Dainite sole with the Ridgeway sole for more comfort and traction and we find the Dainite quite hard underfoot for long wears

The taper really does not feel constrictive or tight in the right size as there is good volume over the toes and although structured the leather is pliable so there is movement there

It is a mid – heavier weight (think flannel shirt weight) cotton fabric and is super comfortable from the get go

a nice shape and vulcanized soles all add up to a quality pair of kicks in a choice of colour combinations

They nailed it with these boots

The leather feels thick but very supple and as with all JL boots

They are built like tanks and have a good heft but feel well balanced when on your feet and not heavy at all Take a look at the sizing tab for how they fit but they are average in terms of getting a pull on boot on

Vasco still make them like they used to

full of character and imperfect which really adds to the overall authenticity of these boots
