We do suggest you mount these houses in a protected area, as there is a small vented area on both sides, where rain could enter. They are glued and nailed. Painted with exterior acrylic paint. Great for indoor or outdoor use.

My roofs and bases are 3/4" Clear Pine

The mailbox is wrapped with a exterior vinyl then laminated for proctection from the elements

the back is a water resistant exterior MDF
