These rugs were spun, dyed, and woven by hand by North African artisans in their homes and on their own schedules. We offer them with an intention to prompt reflection on the production and materials of prayer rugs around the world, which are unfortunately too often produced in exploitative conditions

The 100% wool triple-weave fabric is light enough to not overheat the wearer when worn open

The traditional Barnous can be worn two ways: draped around the neck with the hood hanging back or placed over the head

Sizing: sizes are measured in cm circumference of the inside of the hats
