Sz 42 (US Men's 8.5) 1960s Vintage "Ving" Speed Skates from Norway"Zing!!! It's Ving!!" was the advertising slogan in the 1960s for this brand of speed skates. Ok, I just made that up, but back in the day these were pretty zippy blades. And now they can adorn your man cave or she shed, or "den" if people still have those. Purchased on the west coast of Norway, these skates are in remarkable shape for their age. You'd need ankles of steel to stay upright on them, but I suppose if you win the Olympics you do.
