The nose here is typical Gevrey with red fruit, a hint of spice and something inimitably Burgundian. This follows in the mouth, which has a rich and taut power to it. There is no fancy winemaking here: it is clean, pure and traditional Gevrey, with sweet fruit followed by a very classy savoury finish.
